Hard lesson learned here…
• The BIGGEST issue with spacers is Increased Wear on Components: Spacers add leverage to wheel bearings, suspension, and hubs, accelerating wear and reducing reliability.
• Altered Suspension Geometry: They change the scrub radius, potentially causing unpredictable handling, understeer, or instability during braking.
• Decreased Ride Quality: Larger spacers can worsen ride comfort due to increased distance between wheels and suspension.
• Potential for Failure: Poor-quality spacers or improper installation increase risks of vibration, loosening, or structural failure
I think maybe you should go out and have a drink with @HaulingAss

Just one mechanical engineer’s opinion, after I experienced a wheel of failure that was caused by just such a device. The reality is the cybertruck is like any other vehicle and is engineered for a certain wheel offset. When you extend beyond that you stress the components beyond their designed load and risk failure. Certainly if there is a failure, Tesla would not cover this under warranty. That said everyone is free to do what they want to do.

@Bobio, thank you for the insightful information however I love my spacers and i imagine that @bdesign is going to love them too. I know that I'll check on the torque of the lug nuts to ensure they are good and if I feel that there is any vibration or wobble, I'll check it out. Other than that though, I don't think there's much additional concern. There's 10's of thousands if not hundred's of thousands of trucks that are lifted, with spacers in this country alone. If there was an epidemic of issues with them, we'd know by now.

My one gripe is that the lugs from T Sportline are smaller than stock:

I'll have to order smaller lug caps so that I can use the setup I have now (center cap and lug covers) and like:

See? You just needed a bit more motivation and now this has become a great thread. Looks awesome!

I’ve installed them on my previous trucks (F-150 and Silverado) with no issues.
I’m more than happy to now have them on this pinnacle of a driving machine.

Cool, glad you got them installed ok. I was lucky enough to have a shop do it for me as I don't have a jack or lift stands to accomplish the task myself.

Went and bought the same jack yesterday and installed my tsportline spacers as well. also got the windshield done and threw on side steps. Did you use the coupon that just came out for the jack?

What a runaround getting this done...

I bought THIS from Autozone because the overall lift is 20 7/8".

Unfortunately, that overall height is only achievable with the use of the extension adapter... which when added makes the minimum height taller than the clearance height of the truck on the Medium setting.

Returned that jack.
Out of curiosity, why would you keep the truck on the "Medium" setting to jack it up instead of putting it in its lowest setting (Entry)? According to the manual, Entry is 2.2" lower than Medium.

I also need to buy a new jack, I mostly drive and work on lowered vehicles so all I have currently is a low profile racing jack that certainly won't cut it for the CT.

Edit: I am dumb. For anyone else who had this question, Jack mode which disables self-leveling needs to be on the Medium setting per the manual. https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/cybertruck/en_us/GUID-9E6DD5CB-40BA-4A29-B20D-457303555037.html

Edit 2: Actually now I'm not sure. The manual just says you need to engage Jack Mode. It says to set the ride height to Medium " to allow for enough ground clearance for the jack." So there's no technical reason I'm seeing here why you couldn't set the car on Entry then engage Jack Mode. Perhaps I'll try it.

I wanted to buy one of those low profile racing style jacks, but the max height I found was 19”, and as you can see from my struggles, I wasn’t about to have a third fail. Haha

For me, the Badlands jack at full extension of 21” (without the adapter) just cleared the ground as you can see in the photo.

I don’t think 19” would cut it.

I've had these on for a few months now. Tomorrow Tesla is putting on my winter tire package that came in. Are they going to have a problem with me having these on the truck when they go to put the new ones on? Like would they refuse to put the new ones on due to the spacers?

I just went out to my truck and tried it, there's nothing stopping me from engaging Jack Mode at various ride heights.

Right height: Entry. Jack Mode: On.

This is good news for me because even my low-pro racing jack should be able to lift my truck!

My local Discount Tire refused to rotate tires on my Silverado with spacers.

That’s one major reason I justified this floorjack - I’ll be rotating tires myself.
