Tailgate clicking noise

Hey everyone, I had my tailgate repaired about 2 months ago and when I got it back there was an intermittent but loud clicking noise when I was closing it. Now, it’s every time and it only got louder. Is there anything I can do myself to fix this? Preferably with minimal disassembly lol. Thanks.

I think the assist torsion rod is loose (or a hinge or strut).
