Update:
Just had a scheduled service yesterday, I was told the <Rear Controller> was having problem and generating some sort of current. The replacement part has been ordered, so another two weeks of wait...
Thanks for the info...did they say what exactly the "rear controller" controls?

Sorry Rockwell, missed your question on a new page.

I just had another service two days ago and the issue has been fixed. Attached is the detailed part info. Hope it'll be useful for everyone else experiencing this clicking noise.

Thanks iamnotedible - my clicking noise is so intermittent now, I've been waiting until I can schedule service to address other items, like the sail recall and the wiper motor recall, plus they still owe me vault d-rings that were never installed....

YES! That's the sound! Thanks for posting that - for some reason I couldn't get my video clips to load. Since I originally posted this thread, the clicking has mysteriously stopped. Very rarely now, it will click maybe once and stop. But before that, it was just like yours, upon powering up, it sounded like a metronome. By any chance is it hot in your area? I thought maybe the cabin heat might have triggered it during some really hot 95-100 degree days we had a few weeks ago....also, I did have a software update right before it started and maybe that's what started it? I've had the truck since March 28, and this started a couple weeks ago. Other than that, there was nothing I did that helped to make it stop. We have a service appointment next Wed. on the 24th, but thinking we may cancel because they'll never be able to hear it or find it.
Had this issue on delivery from my rear right speaker. They replaced the rear body control module and car computer and it fixed it. https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...…tick-from-my-rear-speaker-on-delivery.21063/

So, my truck has been great with no operational issues since I got it in March...until this morning. I drove to an appointment, all was normal. But, when I got back into the truck, I heard this loud clicking noise from somewhere in the right side of the dashboard, above the glovebox. It didn't stop, all the way home until I got out of the truck. The clicking stops as soon as the door is shut. As soon as I open either door, the clicking starts up again. I rebooted the screen, no change. The clicking noise stops when I get out and close the door, and starts up again as soon as any door is opened and the truck wakes up. Anyone heard of this before? I can't tell if it's a mechanical clicking or it's an electrical arcing sound.
I am curious what your vin ranges are? Mine is 20,XXX. I had the same issue

I'm fairly certain that was the module that delayed my delivery by 1 week. Since it was before I "officially" took delivery, that repair doesn't show on the truck's history, but the Service Advisor kept referring to a "voltage mid-controller" in passing conversation. I don't know what the symptoms were but clearly it was evident enough for Tesla to replace it before I got it. My CT is in the 31XXX range.
