Could someone please forward to Elon?

As the CT is to be a clean stainless finish, how about laser etching the Tesla badge on to the truck.
1. helps with errant drag ( I know ridiculous excuse)
2. no ones going to steal your badge
3. there was talk of laser wipers and your laser light bar, just seems to be a logical step.

Personally think it would look super cool.

A laser etched simple logo would be really cool and unique, I love the idea. I agree with rharl that it is so different it really needs no logo at all. It will never be confused with another vehicle.

I would expect to see the Tesla T logo on the hood or front area, and I really like the laser etching idea.

I wouldn't like to see something as ridiculous as this though:

I prefer badgeless too. Just goes perfect with the bare stainless steel look.

But if they do put a logo on it, laser etched would be cool. A cutout logo would be nice too.

Like idea of laser etch badge. I am of opinion to etch the badge front left panel mid level in front of the driver’s door. Subtle and striking.

For the DYI enthusiasts, vinyl stencils and chemical etching may be an option if you do not have access to someone with a portable laser etch device.

Brutalism = No Badge

Everyone will know what it is.
Less is more.
Evangelism = no badge. Brutalism I think is the shape it is due to the requirements of the function.
It is the second definition of evangelism that applies to CT.

e·van·ge·lism
/əˈvanjəˌlizəm/
noun
  1. the spreading of the Christian gospel by public preaching or personal witness.
    2. zealous advocacy of a cause.
"I arrived in a state of high evangelism"

Also: Badges? We don't need no stinkin badges.

Badges are a form of branding. If you need to have a brand to 'show off' your identity then, you are essentially outsourcing your personality. We don't need no stinking badges because We will be driving the Cybertruck.
Also, I do not want anything that will impact the drag coefficient in the slightest or discoloring the stainless steel.

Well, I have removed the badges on the back of every car I have had, but not the one on the grill (usually because of the hole that would be left and indecision over what to make to revil it).
I don’t mind the little “T” logo on the front, nor do I mind advertising a brand I like or believe in.
laser etching it would be even cooler.
I hadn’t thought about doing a logo on the tailgate but the idea of polishing something like the T or cybertruck script on the back. As stated, it would be subtle, which is my preference.

I hated that my Prius had to TELL you that it was a hybrid on left, on the right, on the rear.

Too much bragging, badging; EVERYONE KNOWS!

Speaking along these lines, I pulled up behind a model Y this week and found it a bit annoying that it said "Model Y" rather than a simple "Y". What if the Prius said, "Model Prius?" Annoying!

How about "Model Cyber-Truck" plastic glued to every panel to let people know it is NOT a Nissan? Stupid!
