Seems like now that people know you can get a buy back with a few issues, it’s becoming a thing to try.
In my case, they’d have to “pry back” from my cold dead hands.

Unless they wanna do a swap where I get some of that sweet, sweet lifetime free supercharging. 🤤

I find these buy back stories unbelievable. I've bought and owned dozens and dozens of vehicles, many of them new. Dealerships don't buy back vehicles. This either repair them, or on a very rare occasion, they offer a new vehicle. In my honest opinion, anyone claiming this is trying to make the CT look bad and suggesting it's a lemon when it's not. I wish Admin would be a little more diligent with these claims. They are clearly BS. Not here to debate the issue. Just pointing out that it is not a believable story.
You don't want to debate the issue because you are incorrect.

It depends on the lemon law in your state. My buddy just sold his CT back to Tesla. The law requires a buy back after a certain number of days out of service. They may offer you a new replacement vehicle but few people would buy another model of a vehicle they had lost faith in and the choice to take the money or the car is the consumer's. Dealerships don't buy back vehicles, but manufacturers do.

In Missouri that means at least 4 repair attempts or more than 30 days out of service in the first year.

I will bet a dollar against a donut that Tesla takes those vehicles, completely goes through them and sells them as a used car with less lemon law liability.

I doubt there is a car model out there that hasn't had a lemon or two, especially when it is a brand new model with brand new tech. It is amplified with the CT because of the media noise and the higher percentage relative to sales numbers. Given the high bar to get a manufacturer to take a car back, it is foolish to blame the consumer if there is in fact a buyback.

From what I’ve seen online it seems like that’s pretty much the move that’s happening. Where do you really go from here? After driving a Cybertruck, all roads pretty much lead back to a Cybertruck. Just may be a little less expensive and with some goodies included like lifetime supercharging.

Very few posts on this. It's good to see most are not interested in commenting. I'm not saying that there are no CTs out there that had problems. I'm just pointing out the coincidence. The trolls had no luck shouting down the CTs, and then, miraculously, several 'buy back' lemon claims pop up. And of course, it cannot be checked because Tesla would not reveal that information. Oh---And---any monkey can make an invoice or cheque on his/her computer. It's as foolish as taking a picture of someone else's CT and pretending it's your own. I don't believe in coincidences. Just saying.

You’re embarrassing yourself. You’ve brought no facts to your argument just hurt feelings and conspiracy theories. Perhaps ask yourself why you feel so strongly about a car that’s having some problems. Problems which shouldn’t be surprising considering all the new tech and the “move fast and break things” approach to Tesla. Sure these things below could be made up but I did respond with them very quickly. Lol
