Tesla offering $99,000 trade-in on my 2024 FS AWD Cybertruck

I saw some others commenting about this on 𝕏, so I tested it myself with my VIN. Sure enough, Tesla is offering a $99,000 trade-in on the truck I picked up in early May 2024 with 10.5K miles on it. Very tempting to trade it in for literally the same price I bought it for and pickup a Cyberbeast with the Luxe Package

Lots of posts about it, and Cyberbeast trades are listing at $118,800. I wonder if it's a glitch or Tesla has some very odd promotion running.

Not sure yet. I’m in the process of checking, but I haven’t gotten an email yet. Other Trade-in estimates have come almost instantly, but it is after business hours on a Friday, so who knows.

I have a sneaking suspicion someone wants all CT owners to get a quote for theirs over the weekend so they can spin the next dumbass news story. We shall see. I’ll be the guinea pig.

For the record mine is a NonFS Beast with 20K miles.

That tracks. Doesn’t make any sense for them to offer that much. I mean, it’d be nice, but it’s not realistic from a business standpoint.

I wouldn’t worry if I were you. Still no quote in my inbox, but I don’t expect anything close to these numbers. I’ll post a screenshot of whatever it is so people will have the info, but I expect somewhere in the neighborhood of $70K, not $118K.

For sure. The obscurity of the reference is not lost on me. I was a bit of a comic nerd at one time in my life. Bet you almost fell out of your seat at the beginning of guardians 2.

Maybe it’s the same guy who was responsible for the window demo at the Cybertruck unveil processing the trade-in requests? Surprised they haven’t fired him yet.
