I never liked the Model X anyway. And I've liked the Model 3 better than the Model S ever since the 3 was available. It just drives so much more nimbly and precisely. It feels lighter and more maneuverable too.Not with the recent Model X $5k price hike. It's almost as if Tesla is trying to kill off the dated platform.
With two new Tesla models coming out this year, and the new factory for the Tesla Semi entering high volume production, Tesla doesn't need to get distracted by a hand-made, low production volume car that is a niche product. Raising the price will give them better margins too. Given the competition, the price was too low anyway.
