See some possible design lawsuits, joking, but seriously Franz needs to at least attempt to make a more original design?!

It's pretty coincidental with the reuter report about the end of M2. Very suspicious that this is Elon doing damage control and upped the date for the robotaxi reveal to stop the stock sellers. This is very reminiscent of the 420 tweet (I bought tesla stock then), but notice that he posted the message after markets closed on Friday lol.

Unveil means prob 4 years from now before actual production. They still have the roadster and next gen model B4 robotaxi. Maybe by then FSD would really be FSD.

The taxi and M2 are on the same platform so there's no conspiracy.

Super interested to see what they announce. IMO would be a flop if they show a strange looking concept vehicle with no steering wheel and make a lot of vague promises about the future.

On the other hand, it would be very exciting if:

- They put forward a reasonably realistic vehicle, not a crazy concept like the CT.
- It has a steering wheel (or at least state that steering wheel is an option), so consumers can buy them and use them as their own vehicle (aka the Model 2)
- There are driverless demos at the event (this can be done on private property, I believe?)
- Safety data is highlighted, showing that FSD (supervised) is way safer than a human driver, and a clear trajectory for FSD to become safer than a human when *unsupervised*
- A plan is released for driverless rollout in certain areas while supervised rollout continues everywhere else
- An overall effort is made to ensure riders are made comfortable mentally...they have to learn to trust that the robotaxi won't kill them, which will require some education and communication between car and passengers
