Who needs a roof rack when you have clearance?

This wasn't me - someone posted it on Facebook - but I think it is brilliant. I pick up 20' stock from Industrial Metal Supply 2-3 times a year so was working out a good rack that can support long stock and is easily removed for the rest of the year. Now I think I am starting to consider making, instead, a belly-rack. Attaches to the receiver in the back and the tow hooks in the front. Make it maybe 4" deep. Truck has plenty of clearance.

I'm impressed. And scared, but for no other reason than I've never seen this done before. I can think of several times this would have saved me hauling a trailer for a single long piece of iron.
