Been 2025 for a while, just took a while to update. Was hoping production would ramp significantly faster but we now have an idea of 2024.

Yeah don’t think it was ever officially stated, but the common consensus was that non-FS Cybertrucks wouldn’t be available until 2025 the earliest.
And seeing now how they’re extending invites for more FS Cybertrucks and given their rate of delivery, I don’t know if 2025 is realistic. Their production rate will have to increase tenfold to make it possible.

This is disappointing. With a RN 116927*** it may be years before my order is filled.

Tesla is squeezing every drop out of its only vehicle in demand right now. Every 10 trucks sold equals $1M + in sales revenue.

What do you mean? Your order is already in the queue and whoever ordered it after the deliveries will also get it in 2024, so do you. At least that's Tesla's estimate.

Time will tell. Tesla has not been great with estimates on roll outs or production dates.

True. But I think this estimation is not that far off, as they have already started production.

Every Tesla 10 trucks takes in 1M+ agreed but loosing 0.5 M+ because it cost more to make a truck until they reach at least 125K trucks per year run rate according to Elon in his answer to a question at the 2023 q3 earnings call (check that on youtube). Whoever gets a truck now is worth $150-$200K. This is expected by all car manufacturer. Rivian raised prices before shipping the R1T, am not blaming them since they are still loosing money for every vehicle they make. We need all of them on board making cash in order to continue providing options to us consumers. For now if you would like a truck you got to pay premium. No one wants to pay more money.

Rivian honored original price for preorders. They still are for the duals

Tesla already raised the price before FS bump.

Honestly I'd be surprised if they're losing much per truck
