Would love to hear people's thoughts or reactions they will have when seeing fingerprints on their CT SS body.

Take the poll if you like. Add some recommendations for cleaning or protecting against fingerprints. Let us know how you would like to handle the fingerprints that will inevitably show up on your CT.

Keep in mind that you get to choose up to 3 items.

I get fingerprints on my SS refrigerator. I clean them off. Not a big deal.

Getting all the panels to look like they match? I think that will be a much bigger issue.

I think we need a short poll to see if Furtureboys polls should be size limited or not. I'm all polled out now. 🤪

I generally just clean my sink, but I don't think much about doing it. I'm hoping to have the same experience with the CT. I vote dishwashing liquid, a microfibre cloth, and reverse osmosis filtered water to rinse to avoid water marks.

I am a DeLorean owner. Fingerprints are real, and will show up on your CT just like they do on the D. They clean off very easily with Windex and a paper towel, but do not necessarily clean up all the way with a normal touch free car wash. They are annoying, but the SS is well worth it. The bigger drawback is not being able to easily repair dents because you can't use filler. I'm very interested to get a close look at the CT SS finish and see the "repair" process for scratches and scuffs. Supposedly it's doable at home.

DeLorean stainless panels can be repaired, but it's a different process than for traditional cars. You'd be better off at a machine shop than a body shop, lol. DMC Houston has done many stainless repairs for me.

It's easy to cleanup scratches and scuffs on the DeLorean since it already has a horizontal grain. On an untextured surface like the CT, I'm not sure how you'll be able to make it blend?

I always carry a battery powered blender with me for in situ panel repairs:

Sometimes I also find spare stainless panels on other DeLoreans.

My grandfather always used to complain about the neighborhood cats jumping on the hood of his cars and leaving tracks. Ever have that problem with the D?
