I visited my local Tesla showroom today because I heard they finally had their showroom CT opened up to the public.
Sure enough the ropes were were off and the truck was unlocked for all those who visited the showroom.
I was able to sit in the cabin, play with the 18.5” display (very impressive software!), open and close the tonneau cover, tailgate and frunk.
My impressions? I was super impressed at all of the details. I am looking forward to my non-FS truck even more after a thorough inspection.
The fit and finish was spot on. I didn’t notice anything misaligned but I did hear a slight rattle when closing the drivers door.
The representative felt that “normal” $80k AWD versions should start production around summer. He felt the FS would be limited to 5k trucks. He was going by his gut feeling and rumors, nothing was official.
