Yes, just take it in! They will treat you with a better sense of “urgency” in person, trust meI have been waiting 11 days for the part in Santa Monica. The truck does not charge at all and is sitting in my garage. Should I just bring it in and force it on them? My service guy is "checking with supervisor" since yesterday and said no update on the part after 11 days. I need a loaner asap as I have not had transportation for 11 days.
Literally just got them to take it and give me a loaner.Yes, just take it in! They will treat you with a better sense of “urgency” in person, trust me
Great news…Hopefully they gave you a CT for a loaner. You can ask for a CT instead of other models fyi…especially since you have a CT. Also most likely the part will come in faster than that…they are quoting worst case scenarioLiterally just got them to take it and give me a loaner.
The part is not available till end of April here in Los Angeles!
Maybe waiting for updated part?
Regardless they had to figure out a way to justify giving a loaner without the part available.

That’s weird, I’m San Diego and they have at least 10 CT loaners in their fleet, have of them are CyberBeasts. I usually get a CyberBeast everytime I ask…however I have noticed that I have to request/insist on having a CT if available…if not they try to give me something else. After having a CT, I don’t want anything without Steer By Wire…IjsOn my way in about 1/2 hour
Have not dropped it off yet.
I hae never heard of a Cybertruck loaner in the Los Angeles area. They do not even have options for renting teslas in Los Angels.
i have gotten model x, s and Y loaners in the past. I gather there is no room for Cybertruck loaners to be at LA locations.
Crazy busy barely room to maneuver vehicles in their lots. Extremely hard to get appointments.
Teslafornia and West Los Angeles just too busy and not enough Tesla staff to take care of customers.
Yea consider yourself lucky in San Diego. Los Angeles has been a challenge. I would be curious if they have any Cybertruck loaners in Los Angeles. I have been driving Tesla's since February 2013... My first was a Model S60. Service centers have been an absolute mess since day one and still even if better app systems, they are overwhelmed with customers and really do not have a handle on the fact that not all repairs can be handled via app DM communications. Sometimes you have to pickup the phone etc. There is a finess somewhere there and I love the Santa Monica service center along with their people. Its not their fault, they are just understaffed, not enough real estate and also changing their "system" every few years to try to do better. That’s weird, I’m San Diego and they have at least 10 CT loaners in their fleet, have of them are CyberBeasts. For the gear select panel, they can replace the bracket, but there is a less invasive potential fix:My CT (VIN 006XXX) stopped charging on 29th, put truck into low power mode (which works wonderfully sat for 2 weeks and only lost a few percent). I opened a ticket and dropped it off at SC. Tesla acknowledged but couldn't get me in until following monday 6th. Monday came and went and they cancelled my appointment for not showing up (even though 2 different advisors acknowledged i had dropped it off). Anyway, nagging them daily finally got someone to recreate my appointment and its now finally in to get the PCS2 replaced (under warranty).
Another thing my truck keeps doing is the gear shifter keeps falling down, I have had probably 5 or 6 service tickets which included this "fix" but it always fails soon after (Florida heat destroys their tape job), it needs to be more mechanical instead of waiting for some glue to fail.
Love the truck, hate when I have to deal with service center, the zero-contact nonsense is getting old.
I would get in your cyber truck drive it to the service center drop it off and get a loaner…. Now not wait two weeks.Yesterday morning, I looked at the status of the battery of my 2024 AWD Cybertruck. It had not changed overnight. I couldn’t get it to start charging from the Tesla app on my iPhone. I went out to my truck and it was giving ERROR CODES PCS2_a094 and PCS2_a095. I tried unplugging the charge cord and plugging it back in. No change. I tried doing a soft re-boot. No change. I tried turning the circuit breaker to Wall Connector off and on again. No change. I then went to GROK my Subject Matter Expert (SME) on everything! GROK said that this is a commonly reported issue on 2024 CyberTrucks. GROK suggested that I create a Service Request and then go to a Supercharger and charge. There is a Supercharger station about one mile from my house. FSD drove me there and parked. I plugged in the Supercharger cord and the Cybertruck would not charge.
My Service appointment is scheduled for April 7th which is over 2 weeks from the incident. I’m at about 39% state-of-charge (SOC). I have put the truck in low power mode. I have more than enough capacity to make to the Tesla Service Center which is 6.7 miles away. Replacement of the PCS was listed on the estimate as $0.00. We’ll see what happens…
