“Technically the truth”
No explicit lies, but also very obviously written in the most negative light possible
You bet it is, which is why the scumbag propagandist refused to reveal who they worked for and showcase their professional portfolio. Was this article the result of the recent thread asking people for input from a “journalist”?
And Dave gave them exactly what they wanted. FUD. Thanks, Dave.I am the David quoted in the article…..
C’mon, give Dave a break! He’s had more than the usual amount of issues w/ his truck and honestly I don’t wish Service Center visits for my worst enemies, lol.?You bet it is, which is why the scumbag propagandist refused to reveal who they worked for and showcase their professional portfolio.

Exactly! They only got the anticipated price of the 500-mile Cyberbeast off by $30,000!WSJ AKA brain dead clickbait.

And the media wonder why they are not believed. In the article, did the author of the WSJ article (looks like "Bob" is "Becky Peterson") mention the poll in this forum showing that 86% of CT buyers would buy them again?
I'm pretty sure at least two or three of us pointed them to that poll.
Well, the Beast IS quicker than the original 2.9 unveiling.... So, there's that. I don't think a 0.3 second quicker 0-60 is worth $30,000 but some people may. (Not that this changes the fact that the truck ended up being ~40% more expensive than the unveiling prices..)
Doesn’t matter. “Bob” could have easily taken the exact same set of facts with a completely different, positive narrative from actual owners perspective. In the article, did the author of the WSJ article (looks like "Bob" is "Becky Peterson") mention the poll in this forum showing that 86% of CT buyers would buy them again?
I'm pretty sure at least two or three of us pointed them to that poll.
I told you "Bob" was actually a woman (on the thread of the "writer" trolling for interview subjects)! In the article, did the author of the WSJ article (looks like "Bob" is "Becky Peterson") mention the poll in this forum showing that 86% of CT buyers would buy them again?
I'm pretty sure at least two or three of us pointed them to that poll.
Well, I didn't read the article so thought maybe if the "journalist" had an iota of integrity, they might mention that, even with the writer's agenda and the current environment, most owners are happy enough with their trucks to buy them again - which is perhaps the most powerful succinct summary you can get.Do you actually think there was any chance she would mention the poll showing 86% would buy the same thing again? Either you are one sarcastic SOB, or your eyes are half shut.![]()
