It's not an SR.
It's ten years old.
Bought used in 2019.
Has half the battery of the new model.
Smaller motor.
Is the style retired this last year (they sold them from 2013 through 2023 with incremental updates).

So, yeah. You can buy the one that goes as fast as a literbike, sure, but as we've determined before: You're really influenced by 'limited numbers' and name recognition rather than performance and efficiency.

This bike costs as little as I want per year; 2¢ a mile energy, nearly no maintenance.

That Panigale needs $1800 in maintenance every year; more if you do more miles. In three years, it's eaten more in maintenance than my bike cost. How do I know this? My spouse has a Ducati.
