What ended up happening?
Felt around the cabin while driving and discovered it was coming from the mid pillar assembly. Service center replaced the part and it never came back.

Nice!

My SC just replaced the top dash pad and that did nothing. I just told them to look at the Mid Panel Assembly. Thank you!

I have small rattles in that area but when it's rattling, i can put my fingers in the air vent fins and it sort of stops, so I think mine could be airwave module? or fins, not sure.
My CT is at SC now for the same rattle and literally just asked them to specifically look at the Airwave Module and the Mid Panel Assembly.

I'll come back here and post their findings. Someone might have to remind me to update you though lol.

This has been the only real issue with the CT. Center console squeaking, side driver pillar creaks, dash rattles. Mike has been to the SC 5 times for these noises. All are fixed except one dash rattle I haven’t been able to replicate but think I’ve sourced for the next appt. Tesla has taken care of me each with no cost and a loaner but this upcoming appt has a cost estimate of $600. They’ve said if they think it’s the same issue they’ll waive it. We’ll see…

frustrating but I suppose understandable given the rigidity of the CT and new build (mine was delivered march 24).

My suggestion would be to apply light to medium pressure in different areas of the interior when you hear the rattle, see if it stops upon pressure applied. You may need to have someone do this in the vehicle or have some one drive you around. I assume it was a broken clip in the mid pillar assembly which caused my rattle. Thankfully is has not come back after replacement! This got buried so deeply I did not think to update everyone! Best of luck..

Both my driver and passanger Airwave Modules were replaced earlier this week. Tech showed me the old parts and how the fins rattled when he shook the modules.

But....certain (not all) bumps in the road still cause a little rattle in those fins. It's much improved for sure but not 100% rattle free.

They made me a future appointment at end of month for them to replace the dash pad since they scratched it. They'll try to eliminate the rattle once again then. I must say, they're really trying to help and do the right thing. They're not giving me the "within spec" runaround.

Today was my second service visit to address a rattle which I strongly believe is coming from the dash under the LED lights. I had a quality video of the rattle itself which I showed the service center. I even pointed to an area which where I press firmly on, the rattle seems to subside.. Unfortunately, on both drives with the service center employee, I was unable to replicate it. It seems to come out during hotter environments around 40 mph and rougher roads. The vehicle is less than two months old and at 1000 miles. There should not be a rattle as loud and annoying as what my vehicle has..
I'm kind of torn on what to do next. The service center spent less than an hour on my vehicle (told me they were going to take the part off) and still no fix.
What now?
The rattle is so annoying on some roads around my house it makes me want to sell the vehicle entirely.

It is the plastic around the steering column. Has this exact same issue, they identified the sound coming from the column and applied some sort of material around where the two pieces of plastic meeet and problem solved! Hope this helps

That's fantastic. Were your rattles really noticeable? Mine are tolerable, only very faint, so I'm probably going to wait it out for a while until it needs something else maybe and then mention these.

Yes they were very noticeable and but not so frequent if that makes sense.

If you can wait then that's def the way to go. You never know what's going to happen once techs start tearing the truck apart. They usually inadvertently damage something ?

I had a dash rattle. I could "Fonzie" it just above the steering wheel and it would go away for a few minutes sometimes. Brought it in for fix in December. They said they did work on the A pillar... not fixed. I brought it in again two weeks ago (for fsd camera misalignment) and pressed the issue. They said they needed to order a right hand side air duct and to bring the truck back. So, after the third visit - the rattle is totally gone. It sounded like it was coming the dash just by the steering wheel, but it's fixed now. Thanks to the service team, that rattle was driving me nuts.

That sucks horribly.

I HATE how the service center often does not replicate what you KNOW is an actual issue.
Good luck!
