This rattle is killing me..

I had a pernicious rattle coming from my ac, fixed by service. Then I thought it came back. I swore at the moon for a while the pushed down on the plastic cover between the steering wheel and the dash. Fixed. Holy moly. I thought it was coming from the vent, the A pillar or wherever. In 4 months it has only come back once. I press on that hard plastic cover and the car is quiet again.

I 3d printed some rubber isolators to slide along the dash to help identify the rattle. I could have sworn the rattle was coming from the airwave because moving the blade all the way to the left or the right seemed to alleviate the rattle for a bit. Still, after sliding my isolators around in different locations, it appears to be coming from the grey plastic trim piece and specifically directly inline with the steering column. I didn't want to replace the airwave unless absolutely necessary because I feel like that will create more rattles from them removing panels and installing the new parts. With my isolators in the middle location, I've forgotten about the rattle, so I guess they are going to stay there for now.

For nearly the entire time I’ve had my truck I had a rattle at around 75mph that would go away if I pushed slightly on the A pillar trim. I mentioned it when I got new tires a couple of weeks ago and they surprised me by taking the trim off and finding a wire that was rubbing. All quiet now.
