This noise seems to be emanating from the front passenger side, but is felt while driving. I recognize diagnosis from a noise is not likely, but with the hope someone else may have had a similar experience, as the service center appointment is scheduled for the earliest at 3 weeks out. No warnings on screen. Thanks in advance.

something loose in the suspension, maybe? make sure you check the basic things like lug nut tightness.

It sounds like a once or twice per rev rub ie not something randomly lose.

Something stuck to the tire or flat spot? Do you feel a shake as well or just the sound? Feel inside of tire also.

Wheel lose perhaps (unlikely but check lug nuts).

Sounds to me like a vibration in the wheel to suspension. The wheel is rotating quicker than the noise but I believe the noise you’re hearing is coming from the suspension reacting to whatever is happening. If that makes sense. Request to escalate the appointment.

It is both heard and felt unfortunately.

Definitely have inspected the tire surface without anything we can see, and they were rotated about a month ago and in good condition overall because there’s not that many miles on the vehicle yet. Will do a better job of checking the inside of the tire now. Thank you so much for your reply.

I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to reply to me, as all of your responses were incredibly helpful. What seemed like was coming from the front right, apparently was actually the front left (hearing aids apparently also are needed) and it was the left front lug nuts that were loose. Not sure how that happened as it’s been over a month since the tire rotation service. Any thoughts on how much damage has been done given that probably 200 to 250 miles were driven after first noticing the (lesser) noise (long commute to and from work).

Wow whomever did that rotation, don’t go back. I wouldnt expect serious damage, but i would take it of and do a good visual just to make sure.

I would request a refund from that service station at minimum. I learned my lesson a few years ago when some bozo stripped the oil drain bolt on a car because they use an airgun.

If it were me, I would demand from that manager that they pay for the inspection cost of bringing the truck to Tesla to check out. They have business insurance. Time to use it.

Good advice, and I intend to follow it
