Tinting Front Windshield Not Possible Because Glass Too Large?

Has anyone tinted the front windshield? I was told it is not possible due to the size of the window. I'm curious to hear others feedback and if they were able to do it. If so, please show some pictures.

Yes, we will be having AFS, in Houston, wrapping, tinting and ceramic coating Blitzen the Beast next week. They are the only shop in town who will, and can, do the front windshield. It is extremely labor intensive and requires at least two technicians to complete. Here is the info:

I have mine tinted with single solid piece. "70% Xpel".

Looks great, we are using the same...can't wait until everything gets completed next week. Your CT looks really fine......

XPEL prime XR Plus at 45% on windshield! My installer did 20+ CT’s 4 weeks ago, by now he may have done 30+ easily. While mine was getting done, there were 2 beasts being wrapped with tailgate taken off and the frunk disassembled including daytime running light off the body. It was scary to see many parts taken off with so many screws lying around! These guys are Pros!

I tinted about half the AS1 line and love it. Going all the way to it was eye level for us

I had mine Tinted as well as all the front windows they did a fantastic job Advanced Solar Control here in New Jersey

I got mine done.

The window is 59", they make rolls up to 60", just need an experienced company to do it. Because I was the first CT and they don't stock the roll, it cost me $600. I did do 70% or so to match all the windows. Love the look, but it definitely takes some getting used to for night driving.

Had my windshield done in 45% with no issues! My installer has done more than 25 CT’s, so he’s got it down perfectly! You just have to find the right installer!?

I had my front windshield done by my tint guy and it cost me $400. It took him 2 attempts and about 4 hours total to get the job done. He said it was the toughest job he's done and really needed 2 people to do it. Definitely happy with the results and recommend it.

35% windshield. Possible. But 2 shops turned me down. Found one who did it and it was his first. Almost not his fault since I don’t know how you would get up to the bottom of windshield without putting body weight on the top dash that is that perforated leather… but he must have pressed it down a little, because when I change the direction of the air vents they make an audible grinding noise. Super annoying. So let them know to not put body weight on top of that dash.

Yes it is possible to do it in one piece. Chris at Elevated Auto Films in Pleasanton CA did a great job. We did Xpel xr plus 70 percent

Yes! Done. Also most expensive tint piece. Special order tint for windshield.
