I have now owned my CT F Beast for over a year, and my light bar is now due to be installed. The service managers said they have done 2 installs successfully, but didn't divulge if there were any unsuccessful ones. I have read about some unsuccessful installs, but can't find details.
If you have had the factory light bar installed, please let me know your thoughts and pictures please.
I was only the second one done by my CS earlier this spring. The only issue at that time was who/how makes the final connection, as in California that can not be done by the manufacturer. TLDR; I ended up making the final connection at the passenger B pillar - a simple process that is now well detailed by Tesla that your service center can provide to you.

I LOVE the light bar and the fact that it is integrated into the onscreen controls. I have not had any noise or loose fitting issues that some others have claimed. I've taken it on long road trips (Mexico) that covers both very hot and cold climates without issue.

I use it frequently while camping and off-roading - here in California it is required to keep in covered unless one is off-road, so I have saved the black tape (wrapped around a Yetti cup) in case I am stopped, but I think that is one of those things that isn't enforced much.

My Beast had lightbar installed 2 months ago. It fits tight and is perfectly aligned. I connected the B pillar and roof connector by watching a short video on this forum by a user. I like the subtle lightbar integration. It isn't covered up. There isn't a lot of uses for it. But I don't care. When I do use it it will be valuable. The lightbar just makes the Beast that much more amazing.

I’d wait for the revised version!

Mine was installed about a month ago. If it doesn't fall off this summer it should be fine - so far 117 degrees. The only thing melting here were the street signs....

Funny I just scheduled my install a week ago and picked it up yesterday. I did not have them install it as I'm not sure that I like the look and having it glued to the windshield isn't a good mounting solution.

I'll hang on to it for a bit to see if they have an upgraded version coming out and maybe I can exchange it, although I'd be surprised if they change the whole light bar instead of just changing the mounting solution.

Maybe I'll sell it and go aftermarket, maybe I'll make my own mounting bracket. Time will tell
