Tonneau Cover Weather Seals In between SLATS coming undone

Has this happened to anyone?
Noticed it when my cover wouldn't open and close well
I tried my best to squeeze or pull the seals but they are wedged in tight
NO idea how this could have happened

Looks like another fun service visit..

@edc did you get this fixed? What all did it take? I have one that is starting to look like this. Thanks
