Too many FS available for immediate pickup!!!

Ahh, I see now. You aren't getting one and you're feeling a bit jealous... Or maybe, it's like it was at OUR local sales center... Went by one day and they had about 10 of them in the lot... Then went by a week later and there were STILL 10 in the lot... BUT they weren't the SAME 10 (as I found out)... And, in fact, about 20 minutes later a truck pulled up with 5 more (and 2 Model 3's)...

The 'associate' I spoke to said that ALL of them were already 'sold' and waiting for pickup and that it's been that way for over a month now... I can attest to that fact myself as of Sept. 29th when we picked ours up... They were 'processing' our order along with 5 others and people were still coming in to pick up theirs too!

So, if just the CAMARILLO 'store' has been that busy, that's a very good sign that people are still getting them... I do know one person who couldn't pickup this last weekend (FS Beast) because he was out of town, but they are holding it for him until Friday when he will get it...

the delivery center down the street from me will have 20 on Friday then a empty lot by Sunday. That goes for all there cars. I’ve seen it over loaded on a Thursday and empty by Monday. After all it’s a delivery center not a car lot so wouldn’t that mean all trucks brought to it are sold ?

I just called my local Tesla SS as I am impatiently waiting on my Non FS. Lady told me that we have more than 100 FS AWD and Beast available for immediate delivery for anyone willing to pay $20k more. I ordered my non fs two months ago and still waiting. Convincing my wife to be onboard with FS

I went ahead and ordered the non FS CB on 10/18 got a VIN 10/19. I texted them this morning for a delivery update to south Florida. Possibly early November … this waiting is harder than the 1st 4 years ?

Hope you get yours soon! I converted my original reservation from 7/19/2020 into the order on 10/18/24, maybe thats why? Not really sure though. I am near Fort Lauderdale/Miami, wonder if geographic location makes a difference.

That's not new, it's already got 14K miles on it and the tires are nearing their service limit.

You can always buy a used car, the discussion was about availability of new Foundation Series available in the US. They are going away.

Wow! It’s happening, just got the alert, they offered pickup as early as 11/6 but due to work obligations I couldn’t do earlier than 11/10.

Likely many don't understand that in retail the sin is shipping stuff twice. Yes selling trucks is retail even cars.

These trucks on 94 E in Michigan are going to buyer's. Whether they sit on a lot for 2 weeks to prep is immaterial.

Tesla doesn't send it to a local service center and then send it to another service center when somebody wants to buy one like dealers do.

So for those that think I'm wrong, where are these trucks going just to sit someplace on some lot like we hear in the news like Ford has a whole Michigan international speedway filled with F-150 lightnings.

No they are reserved and going to the location and are going to be prepped for delivery. News articles look and say wow, there's 20 cyber trucks in a lot. Start the presses the world's ending in cyber truck land. When I got mine back in late February March there were nine cyber trucks out there and they told me they don't start prepping till a delivery date is set.

And prep doesn't occur for about a day or so prior to pickup. Maybe Tesla has realized that some of the recent buyers are kind of cranky and want all water spots removed even though it's raining.

Tesla just reported an all-time record Q3 vehicle deliveries. If Elon is alienating leftist buyers, he's attracting even more new buyers from the right, so good for him for his leadership.

With record Q3 deliveries I think your narrative just looks silly and misguided. I'm glad Elon is exercising his right to speak his mind, we need more smart people speaking the truth. People have died for our right to do exactly that. It's no joke.

After I picked it up, I drove around behind the Service Center and counted 13 Cybertrucks and Cyberbeasts, some FS, some not, all looking for someone who would pay lots of $$$ to Tesla and give them a good home. This is more that the number of Cybertrucks owned by individuals in this small city in Florida.
