Does anyone know how long it takes to transport a cybertruck from Austin, Texas to New Jersey? It’s been more than three weeks since I received my Vin and got the loan application approved and submitted the insurance and still now ETA of my cyber beast arrival, it’s supposed to be delivered to the service center in Princeton and they have no idea what the ETA of it is. has anyone experienced this long of a wait to get contacted to arrange for delivery?
any information about timing would be appreciated.
Thank you

In NJ, I had a 5/13 build available in the holding lot and matched to my order on 6/4. Picked it up on 6/10. So it would seem less than three weeks in my case...

...however...

...rumors abound about another OEM that has rail cars stacked up in the direction of the Northeast blocking other car-carrying freight from having clear access to the lines - trains, amirite? It seems that other OEM's holding lots are full and dealers don't want more inventory. Believe it or not at your discretion.

My best guess, and it is a guess, is you should see the vehicle arrive in the next week or two and then a week or so to prep for delivery. There may be some variability due to month-end which is also quarter-end in June as well as the July 4th holiday falling mid-week.

Long story short, guesstimating mid-late next week or probably the second week of July.

Pro tip: if you know where the holding lot is for your local Tesla SC I'd recommend going there and seeing if your truck is in the lot. That's what I did and then drove straight over to the SC to ask about delivery long before they sent me any messages or emails. The next day I could schedule delivery in the app and got a phone call from the SC to arrange delivery. I think being proactive saved me another week or two of waiting.

So I received my VIN on 5/10 and it’s currently on hold in Paramus. It arrived on 6/14.

To the rumors regarding railways, I had gone to Paramus store to ask to ping the vehicle and it was in Syracuse. So it seems as if they bypassed this rail issue to go north just to come back south to NJ. Hence longer than normal VIN to delivery time. It’s a wait and see game now for me.

what puzzles me is whether this affected only cybertrucks or any Teslas?

Just as I was typing my question and left my house this morning I received a notification from Tesla to schedule my delivery for the cyber beast and it’s all set up for the 25th in the morning. now, I have learned that it takes about three weeks to bring a cybertruck to New Jersey area with all the delays with the railroad system . they haven’t asked for money yet. I think I will do the bank certified check with the Vin number noted on it when I go to pick it up. It seems to be the most secure way to do it.

So, where is the Princeton lot holding the trucks? I recall this is a post many weeks ago? Thank you!
