What apps/websites are recommended for trip planning with charging information when not planning from your CT screen?

The Tesla app is pretty decent, under location you can build a trip and send it to the truck. Also ABRP(A better rout planner) app is decent too.

iirc (correct me if I'm wrong plz) the in-car navigation is powered by Google. The chargers and stops are on top of Google.

I know a lot of people love waze, but I don't use it because of no charger inclusion.

https://abetterrouteplanner.com/ does work in the truck's web browser, which is nice, but I don't personally use it.

You've got 3 different sites/apps and the onboard computer.

And we're talking of routes over 500 miles, for those less than 500, just use the onboard nav.

The first two have apps as well as the web sites.

In my experience, use any/all of them to see what options are. You generally want to familiarize yourself with the Supercharger locations, which ones are V2, and where there may be large >100mile gaps between chargers.

You can also use https://www.plugshare.com/hotels to help you find hotels with charging options.

Things to look for are where to eat and stay. Some Superchargers have better food than others. And while a V2 150kW isn't the best to stop at during the day, it's better during meals, because the car doesn't charge as fast. If you are going to sit down for a meal, even at fast food, it is quite possible that you may need to go move your vehicle during the meal.

Again, in my experience, once you get in the car, all the planning tends to go out the window. The car does a decent job of choosing charging, but there definitely are options.
Just make sure that car is routing you somewhere, so that the car can watch out over you. And if you are picking a charging stop that the car didn't make sure to always add that to the route, so that the car can condition to it.

Out of North Carolina, it's going to take you many hours, unless going backroads, to where Supercharger choice becomes a little critical. So much of the route out of the state is covered by Superchargers every 50 miles. So it is definitely pick and choose.

I don't have my CyberTruck yet, but is fairly accurate for my Model S, the 65MPH reference is not what I drive, I usually set it to 84mph.

The difference between 400 AND 450wH/mi is rarely significant. Try it.

While it absolutely depends on the area that you are in, and the speed that you are going. Superchargers are often placed at least every 100 miles and often less than 50 miles, and in amazing number of places, less than 20 miles.

The difference between ranges seldom impacts which Supercharger is used next. In the common worst case, you may stop 50 miles earlier. That probably doesn't even mean a different number of Superchargers, just differing ones.

If you are talking about a less than 250 mile trip, there are possibly more factors that come into play.
And you can always get out and measure it yourself.
