Just installed 2025.8.4 and see the updates listed.

For my understanding: although there is no FSD update (13.2.8) can this software update impact FSD behavior?

I know that FSD is not deterministic, and you can’t even assume it will be 100% predictable, but I was expecting at least some consistency. My experience with 13.2.8 that I now used for several weeks on exactly the same commute five days a week is that while it does a few “odd” things almost every day the same (1), there are random things it does some days, and not other days (2). Would there be any explanation for that?

Examples of (1): on the freeway moving into the rightmost straight lane one exit earlier than it needs, and then very far from the real exit (more then a mile) already turn into the right turn lane. Everyday the same, not impacted it seems by any other traffic, busy or not busy. Another one is on one specific freeway on-ramp, speeding up very fast, and merge onto the freeway and immediately also into the next lane. Again, regardless of how busy or not the traffic is. It does all this safe, but why only at that onramp and not at others?

Example of (2): one a two lane (same direction) surface street, where it needs to take a left turn after five traffic lights, always stays in the right lane, except some days it chooses the left lane and then after the last traffic light moves to the right, “forcing” itself in. Blinker out, slowing down. It is safe, but why?

this is (hopefully) not possible in my Tesla? Never tried it, should I?
A Tesla will not engage the motors while the charge port is connected.

FSD is a bit wibbly-wobbly, drivey-wivey

I wouldn’t expect another answer from an IT “Specialist” (kidding). You know the saying that “algorithm is the word software specialist use when they can’t explain how their program works”, right?

I am learning FSD is all wishy-washy.
