Curious how heavy that rack is? What is the shipping weight on tracking?So, I received my flat panel rack, and I assume the light bar that comes with it is in one of the boxes. But I have not unboxed anything yet because that is going to take up a lot of space and I don't want to start this project until I'm sure I can finish it. (How long does it typically take to install anyway?)
I know @Urander mentioned that one of their own CTs has the factory light bar on the windshield, and they were going to wire up this Urander one a different way...but I lost track of where that was discussed as there are so many Urander threads. I am just wondering what I should do with this light bar since I already have the factory one installed. I think two light bars would be pretty cool if there was a way to effectively and safely power them both, and control both from the dash.
I actually never got a tracking number. I just received an email with an invoice for the balance after my deposit, so I paid it, and then these boxes showed up like within a week or so in my driveway when I walked outside one morning. I received no emailed notices about shipping at all...

You were on our way back to the Bay Area, so we dropped it off around 5 AM last Friday instead of sending it by FedEx since it was faster
. Some people in the LA to San Diego area even received theirs on Saturday and Sunday from FedEx.
Any tutorial help on that?For the light bar, you can probably mount it to the 48V outlet in the frunk, so you’ll still be able to control it from the screen.

The rack itself is around 175 lbs, and the net shipping weight - including packaging, hardware, light bars, etc. - is about 220 lbs. Hope this helps!
