Anyone have concerns about the longevity of the vault control switch? I’m wondering how well it will hold up in the extreme sun in South Florida.

I’m sure it will last a long time but you can always use app or screen if it fails.

I thought the same here in GA, soft squishy black button on a somewhat horizontal surface to hold rainwater and catch a lot of sun. Not sure how that will hold up after 2 or 10 years.

I’m in central CA, will def be a concern here too. Maybe someone could 3D print a little flippy cover and 3M tape it to it to shield it ??‍

I'll certainly be using plenty of 303 on those buttons as well as the vault cover, wheel fender flares, bumpers, and any other area subject to fading.

I don't see why not, but I'll probably test on the underside first to ensure there is no weird reaction or staining from the 303.

By touch it seems to be powder coated aluminum. I may be wrong tho but def metal.

It doesn’t look like it is made for the tonneau cover, which is some sort of powder coated aluminum. Are you guys reading it differently?

I dont think it would work on the actual cover based on what the description says. I did buy some though for the plastic.
