I have put my FS on hold (RN number 112758***) until I sell all my other vehicles except one. I just wrapped up everything yesterday and ready to pull the trigger, but I then decided to play one last devil’s advocate to really see why I shouldn’t buy an used F150 Lightning for couple of years and get CT after 3-4 years. After test driving CT, this was a very hard exercise to do but I really wanted to make sure I don’t listen to my heart! ?

One very important and less talked about aspect of Cybertruck that Tesla has nailed down really well is - Length. I live in Bay Area where most Garages have 19.5’ of usable length. Lightning won’t fit but CT will fit (with 4” space at front and rear). I’m ok with that. Trust me if CT didn’t fit, it would have been a deal breaker for me. Also, if I decide to move, my options would be limited to fewer homes. The convenience of parking/charging inside the garage and safety of the truck are super important to me. I think Tesla has thought through the dimensions of CT really well! I’m glad CT is just right enough to fit in most garages, and this is a big thing for many EV owners.

Now I have a good logical reason to justify buying the magnificent machine that’s ever made in history! ?

Length only impresses the dudes, but girth, that’s where the real stories are!

ok I joke, sorry for the crude humor.

I’m 100% with you! I could have used a truck for years but am not one of those people that keep my second and third (home being number one) most valuable domestic assets outside while keeping my trash cans and old junk safe in the garage... It HAD to fit in my garage and it does, woo!

lol, you are right on both! ?

Now that you mention it, CT is wider than all other EV trucks, and that’s a very smart choice for standard garages! It’s just perfect! I don’t think CT external dimensions will change for a foreseeable future.

As for girth *cough*, I mean width, be careful if you add aftermarket wheels unless you want your truck to be wider. Looks good, but might get pretty tight in a 2-car garage.
