I'm in the process of arranging with the 3rd party body shop, same as you they said it's too involved for Tesla to do it, they are still on track to replace the doors, not try to repair. I was only going to have the driver's door done for the high speed vibration from buffeting, but I noticed the passenger door now rattles from inside (the driver door does not) so I guess that it means the passenger door de-laminated....I just had three of my four doors repaired for delamination. Tesla opted to reapply the andhesive and not replace the doors for my Cybertruck. Along with reapplying the adhesive, they went through internal assemblies and replaced some parts, etc.
My repair was performed by a Tesla collision center, as the local service center said the repair is more than they can handle. I suspect for those living in locations with regular service centers only and have no nearby Tesla collision center, they may opt to just replace the doors completely.
Ive had the truck back for about two weeks now and so far the repairs seem to have worked perfectly. But obviously its still too early to tell for sure. But I feel pretty good about the results so far.
