Maybe they want lower buildings, so the foundations are more set into the earth?
Could be regulation differences or it could be the local weather, Texas getting more hurricanes and tornadoes than Germany?

Texas does get higher winds, but I expect they're taking advantage of the layout to not lift or stack anything they don't have to. No matter how advanced the conveyor/cradle system, it's always easier for access to be on a single plane.

Friday afternoon footage is now up! Jeff delivered great news to the Quad Squad that he was able to obtain information that Tesla has added a 3rd shift, which will allow 24/7 work at the site starting immediately! We're discussing who's going to volunteer to go out in the middle of the night and get footage of it to fully confirm it, ha!
