Vin Assigned, now Delivery Date, timeline?

I am uncertain whether this question has been addressed or if there is an existing discussion on this topic, but I would like to know the estimated duration between receiving a VIN assignment and obtaining an actual delivery date. Thank you.

From VIN to delivery has varied. Some folks were assigned a VIN weeks ago and are still waiting for delivery and others have received delivery days after receiving their VIN. One data point. VIN showed up in the app late Friday. Sunday morning the local service center called saying, "we have your truck here". It took a few days to register it and get it ready for pickup, but at least in my case, the VIN seemed to show up after it was ready to load on a trailer.

I'm in NorCal and I got my VIN on 1/13, still no truck yet. I have been told it's at the Dublin service center but still not ready for delivery.

deliveries without hubcaps have been occuring

in fact, been a while since ive seen a single delivery with hubcaps

i suspect Tesla has learned something more about those caps, causing them to not be shipping them at all ... perhaps another redesign after the first 'learning' event

I just took delivery yesterday on the 13th. vin was assigned on the 29th of January. So for me it was a full two weeks and then some

VIN assigned Feb 1st, picking up the truck tomorrow Feb 15. 2 weeks to the day
