Got my vin for a beast 4/17. I asked my service center in Pensacola Fl how long have they been averaging from vin to delivery? The service advisor said a month or two. I see people on here getting the deliveries 1 day to two weeks after being assigned a vin. I’ve called Tesla prob 50 times with no answer. Takes about 50 calls to my service center, then an argument with the service tech to get an advisor on the phone. I sure hope I don’t need service once I get the truck some day.

That’s disappointing. So far the only other info I’ve seen about the Pensacola service center was that they tried to give a guy a dirty truck because they weren’t set up for cleaning. I’m also in Pensacola with a Beast configured 12/26, but no VIN yet. (RN 11277****). Have you gone to the service center to see if it’s already on the lot?

Yea I went there and they said they have no info, can’t look anything up, they are locked out of the system supposedly. They seemed to be very annoyed I was asking. Not impressed with Teslas customer service so far.

It is just a service center that is understaffed and just started doing deliveries 6 months ago. I doubt they really have much info to share with you anyway. You're better off communicating through the app or chat online. If it's your first Tesla, you'll learn they don't like using phones.

My sc only has 1 guy left after layoffs for prep of vehicles prior to delivery. My truck has been on lot for 2 weeks with no answers. Ive had vin for 3 weeks. They don't have enough hands to delivery them on time as the pedal hold created a backlog of 20 trucks at my sc. That's 40 to 60 hrs of labor for one guy who also likely has to prep other models for delivery too. I told them I would take the truck dirty and detail it myself. They are gonna get back to me today.

I sympathize with you and with sc level employees as they are clearly resource constrained.

Honesty tesla should offer "dirty" delivery and give you the truck with maybe some supercharger credits or something to expedite deliveries even if they aren't in perfect condition. In a perfect world a 100k truck should be immaculate but the reality is waiting several weeks more just for detailing is not something I want to do.

My VIN was assigned on 4/21. West Palm Beach SC said VIN to delivery was usually 3-4 weeks.

Hey @CYBEAST, I've been waiting for my Beast VIN. My RN is 1127560XX. How much lower is your RN? I'm curious if I'm getting close yet. I configured 12-11-2023 (in So CA) which was a very long 143 days ago.

When did you order? My SC is West Palm Beach also. Trying to get an idea for when I’ll get a VIN. Ordered 4/11.

It’s amazing to me the lack of customer service.

You're probably getting push back because you're just supposed to sit back and be patient. The people you're calling don't have answers and seems like you're kind of demanding them. We all want to know when it's coming but the people at the service center don't have a clue unless it's on the way. And even then it could be delayed and they won't have any information on why.

Yea I’m pretty annoying lol. But I’ve read several posts where they can ping the vehicle and tell you where it is. That would take a few minutes and I would accept that. Without it, I’m gonna call and message them every day until they get annoyed and give me my truck lol
