I've seen a few different wraps for the CT, many by the vendors. I am looking at doing a full custom wrap with mixed colors and graphics. Currently looking at a IJ Premium 3M material. For those who have wrapped their CT or looking into, what material did you use?

Nowadays you gotta go PPF not vinyl. More expensive but will last longer

I went full vinyl. Black Satin for the full body with Gloss Black lines and decals over it. All of it is 3M brand.

I think the reality is that a lot of the brands available (US & Chinese) are all pretty good. We've tested a few, and some of the materials and finishes are amazing (much to my surprise).

As you probably know, wrapping PPF around the edges is a lot tricker than vinyl, so although I'd always go PPF, I also suspect I'll re-wrap on an annual basis, so I'm not going to wrap the edges. Many of the DIY PPF kits do not wrap edges, whereas the vinyl ones do (and need to).

You don't 'need' PPF, but I agree that unless you want a printed pattern, it's the way to go. Vinyl will get torn up on the front, so expect to replace that once or twice over the years. In terms of ease of install, assuming you're doing it yourself, PPF is the winner by a mile. Vinyl is easy in comparison to any other car out there, but it still requires a knack.

Funny, I never thought about doing a wrap myself.

I appreciate the feedback. This first run I am going to have some fun with printed graphics on vinyl. I will share when completed.

+1 for PPF here. Truck got egged by some teenagers and the PPF healed out all of the damage in the sun. Amazing stuff.
