Tesla recalled the original aero cover design after there were some issues with them rubbing into the tire. It sounds like the new version will be shipped to owners once they’re ready.

The originals were removed as they were found to dig into the sidewall of the tire. I believe they are working on a replacement but thats not yet been released. Picking up tomorrow. Not without some excitement though. Got a rug pull on a Tesla error first.
1) December - order truck, fill out trade in details
2) May 4th get vin, send in more trade in details, photo off odom
3) May 4th approve trade in offer (valid for 30 days or 1k miles)
4) May 19th truck arrives, schedule delivery
5) May 19th, After deliver scheduled, personal agendas canceled: trade in offer dropped 45%, app says I accepted it
6) Become uncomfortable I am legally bound to something I didn’t accept, ask what happened, they said odom went up from 79k to 80k (it did from Dec to May, but they had the new number before offer). There is no audit log of any tesla app actions.
7) Quick Sell hot potato to local dealership for near orignal offer price.
8) App changed from accepted to pending offer
9) still uncomfortable messing with pre delivery items will cancel my delivery.
10) finally app canceled trade in and all is on track

Took delivery and everything was perfecto, great experience. Missing lightbar, they hadn’t done a beast delivery so figured it would be mailed later, I haven’t heard much about that.
Turns on a dime and motor sounds remind me of the sound of a 2016-17 MS, but better. Love it.

lynnwood SC found a small crack on one of the headlights, so my delivery postponed to tomorrow. for the location of the headlight, i would very possibly miss it during the inspection. Just let you know what might be the case.

WA reservation 11291XXXX here. AWD Config 3/13, VIN assigned 5/14, virtual trade-in complete/accepted 5/23, delivery day tomorrow 5/31 at Seattle.
My only question and confusion came after learning from the Renton dealership that my truck had just crossed into New Mexico on Monday 5/20, update from order support that it was in California on Thursday 5/23, but didn't hit the ground in Seattle until Wednesday 5/29...holiday weekend, sure. But 6 days from California seems crazy when it should be 6 days total from Giga.
Oh well, after a 4.5 year wait, I didn't get too worked up over a few days. My wife, however...

Wow. They must have moved some on. I counted 18 in overflow on Tuesday around 2pm. 9 in lower parking deck and 9 in outer lot area. There was a Beast in covered deck area. Found out Wednesday afternoon that mine was in outer lot through a friend (I must have missed it when I was there Tuesday). Just waiting on scheduling invite at this point. so close....
