Walk away Door Lock

Has anyone noticed that with the latest update of the cyber truck the walk away door lock is now working intermittently?

It's been intermittent for me also but last few months it's worked pretty well.

Now, walk up UNLOCK is an intermittent problem that I've always had. Sentry mode has recorded hundreds of "selfie" videos of me walking up to my door and tripping the cameras. I know that I look like a total dip shit standing at my truck trying to open the door for 30 seconds in a public parking lot but now I have video footage of it too. It absolutely burns my ass every time it does it (of course people are watching too). To be fair, I think it's more of a bluetooth issue with my phone and not the truck, but it really pisses me off when it happens.

do you swipe up/close the tesla app? I find that it only happens to me when my app is closed. If it’s working and open in the background I have no issues with this.

It's been working non-stop for the last year for me.

Be aware that if you use a key card to unlock it, it will disable walk-away lock, even if you have your phone with you. The next time it unlocks due to the proximity of your phone, walk away lock will be enabled again.

Inconsistent behavior could indicate you have not given the Tesla app the correct permissions or powersave settings and Bluetooth is going into powersave mode. Disable that.

Mine was being wonky after the last update. I ended up updating the Tesla app on my phone and had a notice to verify my email then logged out and back in within the vehicle. I haven’t had any issues since.

No idea, mine is disabled, not stealing my truck when I’m in the kitchen grabbing the 99th beer of the wall. I use my finger ring key.

Yes, and for me my Driver side phone UNLOCK is very intermittent.

Also, to compare notes; My Tonneau cover does not auto-close correctly, it stops 4" short of the end and reverses back and stops.

I have to bump the button to get it to close. Tesla tried to fix it already...

I have that issue only with the frunk. People must be watching me wondering why is that guy standing in front of his truck with groceries and doing some sort of dance/spin moves?

I had this and I sprayed silicone lubricant up and down the track and it hasn’t happened since.
