It won’t hurt a thing to trip the breaker and reset it. Odds are it’s the first thing they will tell you to do anyway. Sense it’s hard wired it’s the only way to “unplug it”. Same as any electrical thing they first want to see if shutting it down and resetting it will fix it.
Agreed- if it is hardwired, flip the breaker and turn it back on- should clear the fault. If it doesn't then give Tesla a call

I am in this situation. Forgot but it happened a couple of days ago. I think on a Wednesday night. It had been charging fine before. Anyway, I reset my breaker even several times after the first. Once I plug into a vehicle it starts to negotiate. The car shows solid red whether is the model Y or cybertruck. The charger was blinking blue then turns solid red. Contacted support through email. Waiting for additional feedback.

No idea. I paid ~$7K for the upgraded 200A panel, powershare ... Wires are very thick probably 2 awg for about 20ft, 11 kw max charging at 80 amp breaker. Amp setting is always max at 11 kw.
I was referring to the breaker that feeds your wall charger,, I'll assume that 2awg was the 2ott wire feeding the 200amp panel. the lugs on the car charger can't take 2awg copper, to thick.
If over heating is the cause, it would be the run of wire between the breaker to the charger. Now in your Tesla app you can set the rate of amps it charges at, lower the better. If it's not a heating problem, the dam circuit boards. Nothing is simple this days

I have now installed 3 wall charges myself and I have had this same issue - turned out the torque on the set screws holding the electric cables wasn't high enough. Shut off the power, open up the housing and tighten each of the 3 large hex set screws. Close it back up and turn on the power.. See if that doesn't do the trick.

Thanks all for your inputs!

It's back to normal by itself. I guess either Trout Electric or Tesla did something remotely to fix it.
