I really worry I'm gonna just hop out of an ICE car and expect it to stop on its own
Hahaha, this is so true! My wife had an Audi Q5 and I actually did this. Thankfully she got a Model Y and now no worries! The Model Y does make a warning sound when I jump out tho, and she isn’t a fan of warning sounds

My main issue with the squircle is the adjustability. The diameter is smaller because it's more agile and responsive, but that means it needs more in/out and up/down range. I have mine ALL the way out and down, but it's still not quite right for me.
Interesting. I almost mentioned how I love that it seems way more adjustable than my Model Y and that I was able to both get it in a much more comfortable position for driving and get it more out of the way for easy entry. This probably varies greatly from person to person. I'm 6'4 big guy. Will be interesting to see what my 5'0 partner thinks.

I'm exactly the same. Just to be clear, it's not a huge issue, but I'm 6'1 and sit way closer to the dash then I normally would (or do in our Model S with a yoke). Although at the rate FSD is improving, this might be a non-issue soon...

Mine is all the way out and down too, and I would go further if I could. But it works fine where it's at. I don't want to break ribs if the airbag needs to deploy!

Maybe you’re loving the squircle a little too much if you have it adjusted that far down…?
