So, you're in the truck, you're backing up, the screen is within inches from you and suspension adjustment is 2 taps away, but yet, instead, you reach for your phone, unlock it, open Tesla app, wait for it to connect, then go into controls to adjust the suspension? Did I get that right? Unless it's some sort of "truck stuff" that I dont understand, but not very convenient IMO
Not at all. You definitely don’t understand. But I’ll write you a tutorial for your clarification.

Step 1 - Lower the suspension while backing up to the trailer “via the screen” since you’re already in the truck backing it up. ?

Step 2 - Get out of the truck and walk to the hitch to make sure the ball is perfectly aligned.

Step 3 - Use the phone app to raise the truck to couple the ball. “You know, so you don’t have to walk back to the truck screen just to raise it.

Step 4 - Lock the ball in place, attach wiring plug and safety chains. Then raise the trailer tongue jack.

Let me know if you need a visual tutorial! ?

It's more handy when unhitching.
However, being at the hitch to give it the extra rock and keep ball lock open is helpful.
Agree, this I see useful, especially when you're doing it by yourself and must hold something open or aligned, hence unable to go into the truck. But again, the app response is not very fast. Well, we have it, some will find it useful. I dont.

I’m not sure who wouldn't want the ride height adjustment by app. It’s something I’ve wanted since I got mine last July.
I use mine for actual truck stuff like towing. It’s very nice to back up to the trailer ball and just raise the height of the truck to couple the ball after you get out and make sure it’s perfectly aligned. That means no more going back to the screen in the truck to do it.
I’m lazy and love to have the air suspension do most of the hitch/unhitch work. I’ve used this technique a few times around others that tow and their minds always explode and they tell me they wish their truck did that.

Now they just need to add height adjustment for light shows so we can really blow people’s minds. Make your Cybertruck Twerk, that and A$$?
