Great, timely topic! Next week we’re planning to break-in our new rig on our first trip. We’ll be towing our upgraded 27’ Airstream from the 22’ Bambi that we had last year. During our initial ride home with the 27’ via interstate at 65 mph we averaged approx 800 wh/m.

I’m also looking forward to using the new trailer profiles. Last year the forecast range was off by 40% during our initial tow, but after a couple hundred miles it became very accurate (within 2-3%). Also, if we then dropped the trailer it way underestimated our range. Hopefully the new software will solve this issue.

… for now.

But, I’m waiting for my MarsAG rooftop tent, which I’m told has already shipped & should be in my hands within the next couple of weeks!

I love this set up...and I hate to ask but I'm goin to. With the Tiger Moth set up, what type of range are you getting vs not towing it. (I know, temp/speed/ tire pressure/ elevation, etc) but just pulling that Tiger Moth behind what are you experiencing for range drag?

Thank you! I love my Tiger Moth nicknamed “Mothra.” Also, it’s a great question and I’m happy to help. Answer here: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...xa-tigermoth-travel-trailer-cyberbeast.23987/

Anyone have setup where you can sleep in the vault for times you need to be stealth?
Yes. This mattress is the cats pajamas.

You lay it in the bed, plug in an Ecoflow wave 2 for climate control, sandwich a rolled up tarp between the tonneau cover and the tailgate to leave just enough of a hole for the ac vent tubing to peep out and as my friend above put it “your uncle is Bob”
You can use the bed lights with the app but I like a warmer light in there so bring your favorite lantern type thing.

Also, around holiday time, take of all hooks and sharp things, set up the mattress in the bed and you have the ultimate hayride setup for holiday light. Kids LOVE this.
Useful for drive in’s and stargazing also.
Highly recommend. Folds up small (takes a third of the smugglers den) comes with its own little pump, and fairly fast to set up or take down.
We have the cybertent also so in a pinch if you have more than 2-3 people and don’t want to be on the ground due to weather, it makes the bed into a dry underbunk which can sleep at least two.

Mine's big enough to park the truck in.

But unfortunately, the truck itself is still out of reach due to the economy.

It's a tunnel tent; PVC and tarps.

The arches are made of 3x ~10' sections (with a slightly larger diameter tube cut into connectors between) so it all packages nicely on the roof. I designed and made it myself with my spouse.

The footprint is about 20' x 20', plus the sun shade which is an independent arch. It's survived 50mph wind and direct hits from dust devils.

I gotta get me one of these. What’s entry level money for an airstream give or take? Any recommendations what to start looking at for family of 5 (3 small kids)?
