I think the pulsar is certainly more along the lines of where I want to go with this. I was looking at some Honda options and now I’m wondering if I can use Bluetti AC180t or a similar solar generation solution.
I run this PECRON. 3600w LFP. Expandable to 15kw. Has. 30a/240v RV plug. Can accept up to 2400w (2x1200) of solar. I’m buying the expansion batteries and another solar panel on Black Friday. It qualifies for the solar tax credit that goes away end of the year.

I’ve considered that option strongly too. Do you have any pictures of it in your bed? (Of the truck😀).
I have two Ecoflow delta pro 3’s and 50 amp hub but the issue is they are a hair too tall to fit standing upright under my cybertent. Would love to see how this fits back there.

So for the folks here who load heavy generators in the back, what do you think of this?

I use the ramp right now but it’s a bit of a pain. What do you do?

It’s fits below the track in the bed. My ultimate goal is to have the cyber tent plus 15kw of battery and 1200w of solar panels all tucked in the vault under the cyber tent when open.

Here is my vote - https://a.co/d/5Y8GKA6 For the money , weight and versatility this is my go to remote charging solution - $800, < 100lbs and 5000 watts on gas . Used it a bunch when dry camping at the lake - Run the Rv a/c off the Cybertruck after night time generator restrictions then charge it back up the next morning - Little noisier than I would like though
Just ordered so thank you! Upcoming deep back country Elk Hunt and you just helped solve a major headache! How much range are you approximately adding each night? Any pictures of your setup? 🙏👍

You will also need a NEMA L14-30 Twist Lock Male Plug to NEMA 14-50 Female Plug. Like this : https://a.co/d/2rslpKF and your Mobile connector but that's it . As far as charging speed goes I was using Propane and it would handle 18 amps (4kw) , I believe it will go to 21 (5KW) on gasoline so it's not speedy (think 12-14 miles per hour) . Also It's a good idea to have the truck set to charge off the mobile charger to less than that limit off house current first, otherwise it will try to kill the generator when it try's to ramp up to the 32 amps the mobile connector is capable of pulling. During our dry camping lake trip I would run it 8-10 hours a day then use the truck to power the RV from 9 pm to 7-8 am in which time the dual a/c's would pull 10-12 percent from the battery ( Arizona in September ) as well as the occasional run into town and launching and retrieving multiple boats. After a four day trip we still left with the Truck at 100%. Sorry I didn't take any pictures.
I should also mention that generator has an 8 hour variable load break in then an oil change - I did not want to mess with it at the lake so I did it at home using the truck and mobile connector as a variable load with the phone app .
Also this thing isn't super quiet so locate it away from your living area if you can.
Good Luck on your hunt

Can’t thank you enough as that’s outstanding info! Will order the plug now as well. You’ve got some of the finest bell burgers you can imagine if we fill our tag! Tucson? Spent our summers there with aunt’s, uncles and cousins!

the fact that this little expansion battery is 48v and has its own little solar input which happens to have an exactly 400w input limit makes this exceptionally well suited to our trucks because both our roof and frunk feed are exactly that spec. You could pump 800w of dc into your “range extender” system while supercharging your big battery and not need to run it through inverter losses.

Didn’t think of that. Very cool idea.
