It’s loose and a bit malpositioned. I can feel the nut but I cannot tell what size it is (it is small). I want to do it myself as this will be a reoccurring thing. Any insight??

Thank you! I did actually try an 8 mm wrench. I was not successful probably because I was too afraid of dropping the wrench into the bowels of the truck. I am going to figure out a way of tightening that bolt from the frunk without too much disassembly. If successful, I will follow up

if you manually move the fronk lid down a few inches it will allow better access.

Why is "Loctite Blue" in a red bottle ?
I think the "original" formula was red which carried into the packaging. Now it's synonymous with the expanded product line. There is blue on the threads of the nut. :ROFLMAO:

Just an update: I did manage to tighten the 8mm nut with a ratcheting wrench. I did tie a string to the wrench to help retrieve it if I did drop it into the abyss.
For me, carefully unplugging the wire loom from the frunk hinge and pulling it aside really helped me gain working room. Also the recommendation of maximizing workable space by lowering the frunk lid helped.
There was some blue loctite in place and next time, I will add more. I’m assuming there will be a next time!
Thank you for all your help.

Glad we could help! Funny that there was some yellow thread locker on there from factory, clearly not working. Hopefully not a next time...
