I have nowhere to use it, but had the same thoughts about it being potentially an investment if made as a limited or exclusive offering. I was also expecting a $9,999.00 price, but hoping it might be half that. Getting this will also depend on other options, how much will solar add? Four-wheel steering?
This is also predicated on the price for what I have on order not changing and allowing me to afford it in the first place!

A Zero Motorcycle with the same capability is $11k new.

Yup. With crazy speed and range for the price. It all depends on how much effort they put into this thing. Gimmick or legit long term product.

I didn't realize they'd released specs. I was considering it would be much less capable than the Zero. Maybe closer to the Sur Ron or some of the other budget E Motors.
It's hard to say, they haven't released specs.

But a Sur-Ron Light Bee is much, much lighter than any quad. And the Storm Bee is $7-8k.

Many are speculating its based off the Raptor 700, currently that is new base price of ~$8,500. With that in mind if using 4680's I would say sub $8,000. Personally I'm working side jobs and budgeting 10k... to be more realistic.

Already got too many toys and too little space. Quad takes more space than my motorcycle with no place to store anything. I would more Likely use a dorky scooter with some storage under the seat on road than the cool quad off road. Would not get it at any price. Here are some photos for those whose lifestyle is a better match for it:

Could you roll the price of the quad into the truck loan?

Yeah I just didn’t think it through. I was thinking more toylike than a fully functioning quad.

I'm sure you can roll it together. 5k is my bundle deal limit regardless of toy or fully functional quad.

Over that and i tap out.

I might be interested at up to 4K, but doubt it could handle my only valid use case, which is to climb the nearly 45 degree hill on the back part of our property.

Maybe I should start cutting a switchback... :ROFLMAO:

With 4x4 I'll pay whatever it is.
Only 2wd... not interested.

Not the street machine I was always waiting for, the SR/S, which is more like $20K new. But I get the point. Probably that little Sondors eMotorcycle, at $5K, would be a competitive price for the quad.

I said this back in the OG thread, but unless it's converted to a work machine and not a sport machine I'm not interested. That said, if there's a 4x4 option with a rear rack and pin hitch I'd expect ~$12k (pending battery size). Ranger EV (side-by-side) is around $15k and the other on-market electric ATVs are 9-13k.

My gut tells me I would find a use for it but not a significant use. I would say with it likely being 2WD I would feel comfortable at 4,500-5,000.
I am thinking it will land around $7500. Unless there is an incentive to buy at the same time as the truck I will wait. Having a gas quad that I put around in a coupl Ed times a year isn’t hurting the environment much and having the range and flexibility of a gas quad seems to far outweigh any electric option. Plus gas quads are already faster and more powerful than most can handle. So no clear advantages to go electric there in my opinion. Being off-Russ seems to lend itself towards diversification and redundancy. Putting all your transportation reliance on electric may not be the wisest choice yet.

But being able to top it up from the CT battery would be useful.
