"Tesla has identified a ‘cell denting’ issue in some of its Cybertrucks and is beginning to replace the battery packs. The automaker is also sending the affected vehicles back to Gigafactory Texas for investigation and replacement."

That's the whole story. There is no other info about "cell denting". ?‍♂

From what has been reported, which isn't sourced well. It sounds like these are vehicles that are fairly recent and still in inventory, which is why they are going back to the factory.

This is also a Fred story, so take it with a grain of salt.

When a website has "articles" that are nothing more than word salad from a blurb headline found elsewhere (with no source) I tend to completely ignore it.

Also, this websites content is more than 70% advertisements.

conclusion: FUD

Yep. I have zero nanoseconds for this nonsense.

either way, a recall for free battery replacement is a good thing.
oh yeah! I was charged to 80% and it was only 237miles! Not sure if it was the mid 50's temps this am or the recent software update but I am also noticing the drive mode keeps switching from custom or standard to comfort mode. It switched several times while driving and driving after parking. Very strange, I never use Comfort mode.
Looks like 100% is only 302 miles. (Calculated, not actually charged to 100%)
