Wheel cover repair

On one of my wheel covers the outer rubber came off the plastic. My service center said it’s not under warranty since Tesla considers it a wear item (BS!). I’ve tried epoxy which failed. I am currently trying gorilla super glue with a bead on the front and backside.

Anyone else have this problem?

unfortunately these wheel covers are a bad design from Tesla. I removed them a long time ago because of this delamination.

Yes these are junk. I took mine off as well. The first design the clips scratched up the wheels.

I’m convinced that Tesla assigns all wheel covers to new engineering interns. None of them fit correctly and they all dig into the alloy wheel paint causing scratches.

When i got mine, I opted for the center caps and placed all 4 of these in the garage standing up. Zero use but just the weight of them standing vertical for a few weeks did this damage to all of them. Decided to Just trash them.

Tip: store these laying flat like the manual says lol
