Wheel Cover waiting room ⏳

Anyone who already got fulfilled on their wheel cover yet? I had an early July delivery and still haven't heard anything yet.

I know a few people who have been summoned to a SC to get theirs, mostly influencers such as Bearded Tesla. Both were in Florida.

I heard from my SC that they are getting their shipment of wheel covers later this month. I have an appointment on 9/24 to get my spare tire installed. Hoping to get the wheel covers as well.

I was at a service center yesterday for the windshield wiper motor recall and they had one truck waiting for delivery with the wheel covers installed. The rep told me they received a notification that wheel covers would begin to ship to the service centers starting in September, but they haven’t received any yet. Hoping soon.

I got a mobile service appointment to address a small repair and they indicated they were also bringing the covers - but they changed the appointment date and then indicated the "wheel covers were not part of the original appointment" (fortunately I had taken a screenshot to prove otherwise). Bottom line - I am taking mine in for an appointment next month (spare tire "install") and they added "wheel covers" to that appointment (took another screenshot)

Seems weird to me that recemt cybertruck deliveries have the wheel covers included while people who ordered a while back are getting them later.

I got my CT in June without covers and a friend just picked his up with wheel covers. WTF

From a business standpoint it makes sense. If they are making covers a little faster than they are making trucks then you do ship all the covers individually until you catch up or do you install covers on new trucks and ship the leftovers to older trucks over time? A lot less shipping costs with the second option. Doesn't make it feel any better though.
