Just to be clear, I'm not selling anything here.

Just curious to hear why folks are interested in purchasing CT wheels and tires when theirs comes with a perfectly good set. I'm planning on getting a set of 5 18" methods and new tires for the truck and am wondering if it's worth while to do it now and sell the new wheels/tires or just wear out the OEM tires first.

What has your experience been with trying to sell your OEM set?

Thanks!

Lot of people just have to change something.
I totally get that! In my case, I just want a matching spare that isn't $1200...

It would be great if there is a market for purchasing these wheels, but I'm not sure that there really is.

For the All Terrain LT285/65R20 Goodyear Wrangler Territory RT I got mine off utires.com. I got mine for $182. Just takes time to find the deal. Rim though, seems more like $400-500 unless you dive down the Ebay path. Normally I’d just have a compressor and a tire fix kit but rural trips, and whether a tire shop has the tire or knows even what to do with the truck I’m siding on caution lol. I ran around Tire Rack, Walmart etc .. range was like $419-520 for a new tire.

I ordered my truck w/ the Cyber wheels and A/T tires. I then had the opportunity to purchase a set of Core wheels w/ the A/S tires (including the TPMS sensors) for about the price of the 4 tires alone! I will eventually need tires, so why not?

I plan to stay with the factory wheel setup(s) (though always open to a deal ;) ). I think it is a GOOD THING that those that wish to add custom wheels and tires to their trucks have a ready market to recoup some of those costs, all the while giving stock Cybertruck guys a deal on replacement wheels and tires.

I also purchased a spare Cyber wheel & A/T tire just to have a physical spare. (off eBay) I will try to work that into the rotation with the other four tires. I like the idea of having a spare, I also like that I will get to try the A/S tires for a range trial. If the Cyber wheel covers do not fit the Core wheels and A/s tires I will have to either buy wheel covers or at least center hub covers for that setup. BTW, I am lucky enough to have available storage space for these (they are BIG), I realize many people will not.

No Tesla insulating foam = WAY more road noise. At least i would think that would be the case.

I ended up buying a ~$200 rim from Discount Tire for my spare. I had the fortunate/unfortunate situation where a fence company left tires that punctured one of my tires. They insisted on replacing the tire for me (happened while my truck was only ~800 miles old). I couldn’t just toss the old tire, so I have a perfectly good patched spare.
