I have owned my CT for over 3 months, 3 weeks of that it's been in the shop. I took it cross country and my charging rates have only on a rare few occasions hit max.
I usually sit at 100kW on a 250kW charger with no one else at the other chargers. My trip cross country took so much additional time.
I've hit 233kW for about 2 min then it drops.
As I'm typing it's now at 79kW from the 100 it was a few minutes ago.
I know that the % the battery is at and temp all affect the rate, but it's constantly low no matter my battery percentage.
Idk how to relay this to Tesla, as I keep getting "We don't know, we learn as we go but well send it to engineering " on all of my other concerns.
Trying to stay optimistic but between the bad attitudes from the SC and the other Tesla owners when I simply inquire it's hard. I didn't think owning or buying this truck would make me have to deal with the hate and anguish I have experienced.
I am fearful as life usually does, I have been given a Lemon if the service center treats me like this already and have no fixes.
I didn't come to complain, but to ask if this charging rate is typical and if not, what do I do as a first time EV owner in this situation?
