For those extreme wilderness adventures, do you have interest in a bolt on, easily removable pontoon device to ford rivers? Intention is for light, short term flotation.

Curious if there is a market or would it be a novelty.

I'm curious where you would find a crossing like this?

There are OHV roads that ford creeks and smaller rivers, but none that I'm aware of are so deep or wide you'd need pontoons.

Maybe for flooding?

I just keep thinking about how many ways this could go seriously wrong.

No, all you need is to vent any air inlets or outlets up high, waterproof anything that needs it, and go. peace

I am asking out of curiosity since ai would not be a demographic but can envision a product. Just because I can imagine it, does not mean anyone would have interest.

Just curious.

Any river that I have ever come across while 4x4ing have narrow trails leading up to them not allowing enough room for the said pontoons. Maybe chainsaws mounted to the front of the CT to clear the way for the pontoons. I can see that happening.

CT will float already. Bigger problem is water propulsion so you go in the direction you want to...and the whole thing doesn't end up going down stream.
