Hey guys

We just released our windows tint kit made with Avery Dennison Nano IR tint. We offer it for both DIY (pre-cut with install kit & video) and for install by us at TWRAPS HQ in Concord, CA.

Wait does the tint not go all the way down the window? I didn’t see you mention anything about tucking the tint into the bottom window trim… if not, is there an untinted gap at the bottom when the window is all the way up? I just received your kit in the mail and am watching the video in preparation of installing tomorrow and that part concerns me.

it goes down. Notice how I pop the window open first (through the latch) and then the film tucks in. It’s full coverage ?

Ok that’s relieving! Does it tuck under the bottom window trim? In the video I didn’t see you squeegee all the way to the very bottom (looks like water under the film at the very bottom after you removed the plastic door cover) or tuck the tint under the window trim at the bottom of the window so I’m just curious if that is necessary to avoid the film getting pulled up by the trim when the window rolls down or causing any lifting of the tint at the bottom down the road. Thanks for the quick response! I’m just trying to be thoroughly ready to install tomorrow

It goes all the way to the internal weather strip there, perhaps with about 1mm gap to it. I tried going even further down but had a hard time installing it, and given that it's not visible at all (the bottom edge) I decided this is the way to go. This makes it much easier to install.
