Before tinting the windshield I want to verify that the issues below are expected ‘features’ and not defects.

1. It looks like the bottom inch of the windshield is deformed. See the video.
2. There is something which looks like thin wire around the front camera. See the photo.

Is it expected?
Do you have the same ‘features’?

Did your windshield have same "feature" as OP's? My CT have exactly the same deformity at the bottom of windshield.

My deformity was 2 1/8 inch blurry lines that started on the left side near eye level. It was very annoying. The service center said they seen it before and replace the windshield.

That is NOT what the OP’s video is showing.

That “feature” at the very bottom of the windshield is present on every CT I’ve seen.

Please let us know if Tesla corrects this with a new windshield. This would be a big deal!

It isn’t? From his description I thought it was

The deformity the OP showed in the video are not Normal And have been posted before on this forum. If memory serves those windshields were replaced as well.

The poster I replied to indicated their deformity was at “eye level”.

OP’s issue is at the very bottom only.

Next Monday I have an appointment to replace doors hinges, align some panels, etc. with Tesla collision (apparently they can replace doors hinges in Tesla collision center only).
I added the windshield issues to the same ticket and will update you how it goes.

(I hope to receive my CT back before Thursday, since on Thursday I scheduled appointment to tint all the windows and Friday I am planning to start wrapping it with Tsportline Satin Black PPF)

Update: they moved my service and did not provide the exact date. Reason: They do not have enough loaners…

I have a small spot of waviness on my windshield also, watch the bumper of the black SUV next to the boat as I move my phone, you'll see a small section of waviness.
